Policy reference

After generation, the vary policy decides each slot's fate:

No preference — keep generator's top picks. Some may overlap with previous split.
Keep main lifts only — main-lift slots transplant the matching exercise from previous split; accessories refresh away from previous split.
Refresh as many as possible — refresh slots that overlap with previous split.
Custom — per-exercise keep/replace.
Main-lift override: a main-lift slot's alternative pool always includes exercises from the previous split — they're a valid carry-forward source regardless of policy.

Algorithm settings

Cap how far a swap candidate can fall below the slot's best-score exercise.
